About Us

Unique Fire Protection Ltd has been established since 1973, by a very well respected retired fire officer Mr Bob Christian along with his wife Maureen.

We are the only fully Manx independent company offering you Fire Protection relating to the Isle of Man standards.

From the beginning Unique Fire Protection Ltd has prided itself for having a reputation for quality, honesty, professionalism and reliability.

With our fully qualified personnel, trained to the highest industry standard, backed up with 40 years’ experience in the industry, we feel Unique Fire Protection Ltd offer the complete fire protection solution.

The service we provide is undertaken to the standards laid down in BS 5306-3:2017 - the main standard applicable to ‘the servicing of portable fire extinguishers’. Additionally, it certifies that our recommendations following your site survey are to the standards laid down in BS 5306-8:2012, the code of practice for the selection and installation of fire extinguishers.

Our engineers are not commission based unlike other service companies, they do not have to meet any targets for their work and will not recommend unnecessary parts or replacements of portable fire extinguishers.

We fill 99% of Fire Extinguishers in our fully equipped workshop, making us environmentally friendly and keeping your costs to a minimum. Here at Unique Fire Protection Ltd we take fire safety very seriously – after all we’ve seen the damage fire can do to people’s businesses, property and lives, but we also like to have a friendly and relaxed relationship with our customers.
